[Release #008] Shisei Gokumon chapter 1


Happy New Year guys! Hopefully 2014 is a much better year for all of us! We’re starting you off with a Shisei Gokumon release, finally, after an eternity of Splodey sitting on her butt and moving her fingers, not typing out the script but for chatting on twitter and playing games. Bad Splodey. A joint release with BangAQUA, we hope to bring you more of this soon enough and finish the entire volume within this year. (Gee, nearly typed “next year” in the same paragraph I typed “Happy New Year”.)

Summary: The gate that leads the souls of the dead into the Underworld – that is called “Shisei Gokumon”. There is a watchman at the front and the back of the gate – the black Gozu and the white Mezu. The only time they are able to meet is during the diminutive span of time when the gate is open. “I want to touch the ox-headed demon dyed in darkness.”, “I don’t want to stain the pure white horse-headed demon.” Two beings who can never be permitted to touch each other, despite their mutual affections. So close…yet so far. If they were human, perhaps this could be referred to as “love”.

Also I’d to say ‘Happy Kuku Hayate New Year’, because guess what, Echochi has released Stranger chapter 2 after some time (and other stuffs too)! They’ve been busy and now they’ve made a comeback! Grab their stuffs here~

    Thanks a lot and Happy New Year! I love Kuku Hayate. I bought Sword and Mist and almost died (so cute and sexy!). But yeah for more releases of this mangaka, the cover looks great! :D
    And I saw earlier the Echochi’s releases and got happy when I saw they have updated, I wanted so much to read Stranger and their other stuff!

      I’m glad Echochi came back to life. I’d cry if Echochi just died like this. (especially because they still have one of my Minazuki scripts not scanlated even though I’ve sent it in to them some time go. omg if greeny sees this she’ll bite my head off ahaha /rolls away)

      First BL manga~ We’ve been hoping to work on one, and voila Shisei Gokumon~

    I just want to say thank you so much for scanlating this series. I absolutely her work, but not enough of it is put into English. i look forward to seeing what other lovely titles you pick up.

      <3 Thanks for reading! I think the only reason for that is because she has quite a few with Libre. Libre doesn't take too kindly to scanlators, so we usually steer clear of that, leaving us with a few works to work on. :')

        Hi, sorry to be the weird one out, but neither of the links above worked for me? Mediafire and mega links fully downloaded but when I attempted to extract, I got nothing. Just an error message. I deleted and downloaded a couple of times too but didn’t work any of those times? Is it just me? I don’t think there’s anything wrong with my winzip program because I’ve downloaded a couple of other mangas today and have been able to extract them just fine.

        I did read it on your online reader though :D I just wanted to have a copy on my hard drive too.

          Hello! May I ask what system do you have? I think if you have the general 7zip program, you can extract and open all files!

          If that still fails, you can head over to BangAQUA’s LJ page to get it too! :)

          ETA: Ok! I’ve re-zipped the files, so you can try them again! It should give you no errors this time! XD;; Sorry for the inconvenience caused! :’D
